Congrats on signing up for a race! I know a specific "deadline" like that helps keep me honest and on top of my workouts.

I loved Carnavas, Silversun Pickups' last album; the new one sounds good but I haven't given it enough listens yet to be completely hooked.

On the running music topic, have you listened to P.O.D.'s song "Alive"? Depending on your cadence, it's got a great tempo (~160bpm) for a lot of runners. Plus, the uplifting Christian message seems like it would be in line with your beliefs. Very powerful to run to.

Running and music is something I'm very passionate about. I don't think I could have started without it, and it's been a regular part of every run for the last 5 or so years. Love it.

(We also do running music, too: http://www.hellasound.com. Check us out if ya like!)

Congrats on the time Geoff! Catch the JR over to Shinjuku station if you have time. If you are really brave, catch the three trains and a subway over to Akihabara (tech city). Meant to mention this to you earlier....on the JR line (maybe others as well), the yellow trains have English displays that show the next stop! Oh, and stay off the first car on some lines (female only) or you will get very strange looks.

Geoff,

Oh the memories...keep up the blogging. I'm enjoying reliving the experience through your words. The temple experience made me stop and think. The majesty of the place was not manmade.

I had no idea there were hostels in Japan!
All the best,
Lydia

Hey, I would recommend either one. I have been to Honduras and am going back in July. I also went to Peru the end of last year and I loved it. So much in fact that I wanted to lead to trip their this year but the partnership just wasn't in place between Alejandro and BH. Good luck either way.

That was pretty decent Geoff! You ought to record some of this stuff.
Oh, and I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your Tweets. They remind me to listen to God's "Tweets" in the middle of all the noise going on. Keep it up brotha!
